Reading 2 Sam 12- 22

While reading I thought about "Game of Thrones" ( on reference of Absalom  trying to rule and uprisingto split the kingdom).

As annoited as David was there was drama, betrayal, sexual immorality running through his house.

Even though Absalom led a revolt against him, David's heart still wept for him. I wonder if he would have handled the situation differently with Tamar would things had been different,  or Absalom would have still found some way to rebell. 

I thought about how even though God forgives us the consequences of our sins affect our children.  Hence the need for  deliverance  to break generational curses.

In all this David never lost his praise. Lesson
