The readings from leviticus  1-14 were quite interesting.  I usually do a ewad the bibe in a year every year and I always find something new .

Could it the that five different offerings for Old Covenant worship Is a type of grace?

These offerings are the burnt offering, the grain offering, the peace offering, the sin offering, and the guilt offering.  These are a whole lot of offerings lol. But what stood out to me is the 3 of these offerings relate in particular to sin and its effects. 

Even when it says that if you sin through ignorance.  This hit me like whoa!!! DAILY REPENTANCE IS NEEDED ( Lev 4: 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them)

Furthermore thus applied to EVERYONE! Even the priest.

Thank God for Jesus that our sacrifices today are not that. I thought about some of the our sacrifices sacrifices of thanksgiving,  sacrifices to present our bodies as living sacrifice,  holy and acceptable unto God which is the least we can do. This reading hit differently today for me. Thank God for Jesus and what he sacrificed for us . We owed a debt we could not pay. Imagine us doing all these offerings today???😫
