1 Samuel 16- 28:1-19

I find it interesting that After all the wickedness and plots of death that King Saul, David still revered him continously through all as the Lord's Annoited.  Even in this David carried himself with integrity. We can learn from this as well that Vengeance belongs to Lord.

Another thing that stood out to me was that Disobedience cuts off the voice of the Lord and ones life.  King Saul could not her from God. He was so desperate he even went against his own laws and the commandments of the Lord for seeking mediums.

I can't help but to think there is nothing new under the sun. There a people in positions of authority who people still reverence as The Lord's annoited but in Lord has departed from them and is the enemy of the Lord according to 1 Samuel 28:16.
