Nehemiah 1-13

The one thing that stood out to me was the prayers and petition before the Lord to rebuild the broken walls . Nehemiah understood covenant.  He understood what would happened when commandments were not kept. He also understood the power of praying and fasting. 

Lessons: Prayer and fasting changes things.  It's never too late to start rebuilding.
