One thing that stood out to me Is: 
Psalm 37:25
I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.

This means to me that God has the power to take care of those who are striving to do right and their families. He trusted in God and His promises.
We have a better covenant that Israel.
We are the righteous in God because of Christ Jesus. God will provide!
